mr. Marjolein Bronneman

Marjolein Bronneman is specialist op het gebied van de intellectuele eigendom. Zij is thans werkzaam bij het Wetenschappelijk Bureau van de Hoge Raad der Nederlanden. Voordat zij in 2014 bij de Hoge Raad begon, heeft zij 10 jaar als advocaat gewerkt bij de Brauw Blackstone Westbroek. Marjolein is actief lid van de Nederlandse Vereniging voor Intellectuele Eigendom (VIE/AIPPI) en spreekt dit jaar voor de zevende keer op de Benelux Merkendag.

Jurist bij het Benelux-Bureau voor de Intellectuele Eigendom. Hiervoor was zij 5 jaar als advocaat werkzaam bij BarentsKrans N.V. te Den Haag, sectie IE & Technologie. Verder is zij secretaris van de stichting Briza en 2012/2013 was zij voorzitter van het bestuur Stichting Jonge Balie Nederland.

mr. Koen Limperg

Koen Limperg is Senior IP Partner at De Brauw. He advises and litigates on behalf of national and international clients in all aspects of intellectual property, advertising and regulatory matters. His practice includes IP conflict resolution through litigation, negotiation, mediation and arbitration. He is frequently engaged by clients to act in multi-jurisdiction litigation teams. He has particular experience in fast-track IP litigation, mainly relating to the food industry, wines and spirits, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, tobacco, fashion and luxury goods. The practice is strongly cross-border in nature and Koen enjoys cooperating with foreign IP colleagues and clients, often engaging the extensive network that was created overtime. His know-how is also frequently called upon in transactional matters. Chambers says he has ‘a strong commercial acumen and down-to-earth approach.'’ And Legal 500 that he is ‘one of the very best IP lawyers’ Koen lectures and publishes regularly, and was previously Research Fellow at the Munich-based Max-Planck-Institute for Intellectual Property, Competition and Tax Law.

mr. Wim Maas

Wim Maas is actief op alle onderdelen van het intellectuele eigendomsrecht, zoals het octrooirecht, het merkenrecht, het modelrecht en het auteursrecht. De nadruk van zijn praktijk ligt op het procederen in octrooizaken. Hij is actief op verschillende technische terreinen, zoals werktuigbouw, biotech, farma en elektronica. Naast zijn procespraktijk adviseert Wim omtrent nationale en internationale octrooistrategieën en ondersteunt hij cliënten bij het exploiteren van hun IE-portefeuilles. Wim rondde in 2003 zijn studie rechten cum laude af. Hierna werkte hij als advocaat bij De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek en Howrey. Wim publiceert regelmatig wetenschappelijke artikelen over het materiele IE- en procesrecht. Wim is als partner aan het kantoor TaylorWessing verbonden en geeft leiding aan de sectie IE/IT. Hij is co-auteur van De Handhavingsrichtlijn, Handhaving van IE-rechten in Nederland, Den Haag: Boom Juridische uitgevers 2013

mr. Florence Verhoestraete

Florence Verhoestraete has practiced IP law since 1994, with a focus on patents, trademarks and unfair competition. She represents clients in the food, consumer goods and life-sciences sectors. She advises on and litigates in relation to intellectual property, contractual and regulatory issues. Florence works in Dutch, French and English. Florence received her law degree from KU Leuven in 1992. She then studied intellectual property for one year in London and worked in the intellectual property department of Clifford Chance (London) for six months. Florence joined NautaDutilh in 1994 and was named a partner in January 2004. She is an active member of the firm's multidisciplinary Life Sciences group. Florence has published a number of articles on selected topics in the field of IP law and is a regular speaker at seminars.
